Charlie and Virginia were beginning to look into solar for their winery when we got in touch. After a site visit to have a look at their facility and a discussion about their operation we realised that the barrel shed was going to be the optimal place for the installation.
We encountered some design issues by discovering that the supply from the street was coming via an unfortunately long cable run. This can often prove troubling due to voltage drop issues that occur over long distances. Through some clever electrical work, we were able to ensure the drop was not going to be an issue and Charlie and Virginia have been enjoying clean, green electricity for their winery all year.
