Frans Gous decided that he needed to replace a dilapidated roof at the Big Rocking Horse in Gumeracha and was interested in exploring solar energy. We contacted Frans to organise an initial meet and went out to have a look at his site. Frans was very enthusiastic about moving the project forward and so we had a look at all of his options. Amongst the challenges that we faced were a vast number of problematic trees casting lots of shade; split meters across two buildings and infrastructure upgrade requirements.
Through open, frequent communication we were able to design and system and a solution that suited Frans’ needs as specifically as possible. His system has been outperforming our best estimates since day one and the Big Rocking Horse & Toy Factory is eco-friendlier than ever before!
